Tommys In Yorkshire

Saturday the 20th September 2008 saw the next big fund raising event of the year - the 80's Disco night. A fantastic night was had by all raising £1,171. So a big thank you everyone that attended to support the "Tommy's in Yorkshire" fund raising group.

A special thanks must go to you branch chair - Sharon Underwood who managed to organise and host the evening to great effect. Much praise and thanks has been received by the attendees [ click ] . Sharon as usual was helped out by Jane McArdle, David Underwood, Stuart Senior, Emily Underwood, Georgina Mcardle, Wendy and Andy Brown, Diane Appleyard, Elaine Law

The excellent entertainment was provided by Helen and Richard Woodhead

Other sponsors of the night were Steria (who Stuart works for) donated £400 and sponsored the star prize (A Digital TV) of the night and David Lloyds who allowed the use of the venue for free and drinks packages. Thanks to Both Steria and David Lloyds.

The evening consisted of news of Tommy's events, a message from Tommy's HQ, many games, Disco, 80's quizzes, sing that 80's advert theme, plenty of fancy dress, raffle and another brick in the wall.
